Welcome to the Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Guns. In this book, we'll cover everything you need to know about how a gun works, how to safely handle and fire a gun, what kind of ammunition is available, how to buy your first gun, and so much more. The biggest difference you'll notice with this book is that it's not written from an "expert's" point of view.

I started learning about guns a few years ago and all that I remember from the experience is that it was incredibly intimidating. There were so many different types of guns and ammunition that it was overwhelming. Couple that with the stereotypical big egos that come along with most gun guys, as well as the political side of it all and it almost drove me away. Luckily, I stuck with it and vowed to create a platform of teaching about guns that avoided all of the intimidation.

Over the past few years, I have worked my way through managing a gun store, I've shot competitively, I've soaked up every bit of knowledge that I possibly could, and I created a YouTube channel called Green Light Shooting. This was a place where I could help the people that were in my shoes  the people who wanted to learn about guns but didn't want to deal with the egos and political drama. This was a place where the complete beginner could come with no pressure and learn at their own pace from someone who was also still learning. This book is a continuation of that mindset.
