Description of  Sunbolt (The Sunbolt Chronicles) (Volume 1)

Good fantasy with non European main character. Good mystery that makes me itch for the sequel, but also a good stand alone book. No loose ends but tantalizing. Good character development and the main character is fantastic. String moral angle but not perfect. very realistic and doesn't win every challenge and doesn't ignore the past. all the characters are actually very close to realistic in the motivations even though the world and actions are fantastical.
