Susan May Warren is one author who has the great talent of making this happen. As I read of Max and what his future holds, I cried for a young man who has no control over what happens in his life. But as I continued to read, Susan did such an eloquent job of showing that it isn't the end results of the journey, but every step of the way to that end that make up the joys of life. I totally loved this story about Grace and her discovery of what she wants in life and how to get it. And the side story of Casper and Owen makes for an anxious wait for the next book to come out.
