The McBride series might be my favorite of Jennifer Ryan's and that's saying a lot because I adored The Hunted Series. Brody and Owen, you both worked for me but oh Dylan, who can resist a second chance at love? Or a sexy but strong sheriff? Not me! Jessie might be my favorite Ryan heroine today. She has hidden vulnerability, and suffered terrible, tragic loss, but has so much character and heart. Loved it.
