I loved this novella, as usual Paula's writing is addicting and her characters are swoon-fully delicious. If you like strong females then you will love Janet. Janet's demeanor is one every woman should have strong willed, stubborn, independent, caring, passionate, and fierce when called for. Yes Janet is a woman I can totally identity with no man controls her life and she makes her own decisions. Darach is a bit of a rogue but his tender heart bleeds songs of passion for a woman that is more thrilling and beautiful inside and out than any other woman he's ever met or been with. . Darach doesn't want to tame and rule over Janet, no he wants her beneath him squirming and begging for more. Funny, Janet like Darach pens her words of passion but when it comes to expressing their feelings they find themselves boiling with frustration because they don't know how to approach the truth of their feelings. But with one uncontrollable kiss and one night of claiming, everything they dreamed, penned, or love song sung bares their irresistible love. This Beautiful story written with visionary words makes me want to live in their world forever. I highly recommend this adventurous Highland novella and look forward to the next addition in the series.
