Description of  Blade on the Hunt (Goddess with a Blade Book 3)

I know a some people seem to think that Rowan is like so many other heroines, but she has a unique outlook from being raised by the First Vampire and the Vessel for the Goddess Brigid. It puts her foot in several unique worlds and makes her a refreshing and surprising heroine. Rowan has been recovering from her attack by the Ancient Vampire Enyo. Theo went on a killing spree with the Blood First Vampires who helped Enyo and Rowan had to talk him down to semi stability. Theo considers her his daughter and under his protection, but still drained her almost completely when she was 14. Now that she has recovered, she wants to go after her enemy before she comes for her again. She must face off against the anti-vampire hunter group as well as the Blood First Vamps. She also has a love triangle. She and Clive are doing well together and she is getting comfortable with him. This will give him more face time with the First and creates a rival in the Scion over Germany and Europe. She finds that it may be a lot more than a crazy old vamp she has to deal with but they may be into the start of another war. Can Rowan's blood donations from the First, Two Scions and several of the guard give her enough of an edge to take all comers? Will Theo be able to control his blood lusts and keep his sanity? Can Rowan and the gang survive all comers? Rowan always is in the middle of a lot of action and the reader gets to come along for the ride. I like this series.
