The Guitar Works Big Book contains sections on finish work: Information that you can use to do your own finish and spot repairs on guitars step by step to teach you that you can come very close to perfect results every time. You will learn to apply a lacquer finish to your guitar. I have provided examples of Both Acrylic and Nitrocellulose lacquer, and full paints as well as spot repairs on various instruments in my shop. It can allow you to save money purchasing guitars that need work and give you the confidence that you will be able to perform the repairs yourself.
