Description of  Life Is But

Early in 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic, a printed version of this book began to circulate among certain circles of alternative culture in Barcelona. Usually it passed from hand to hand, but could also be found in some bookshops, where the shop attendants did not know the price nor where the book had come from. In short, a genuine underground product. The book included 180 photos in black & white, taken in the streets of Barcelona between 2014 and 2019. Now the publishers have made available a revised digital version, with a different title, a different cover, some photos less and some new images. In the end, despite being such a minimal object, untraceable and almost clandestine, it nevertheless constitutes a substantial work, enigmatic in its simplicity and open to diverse (and divergent) readings.
