First off, if you are buying this from Amazon, I assure you that it is longer than 56 pages. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I love this bunch of friends. Max is a big flirt. We have seen him taking care of his disabled daughter throughout each book in this series. Helena is a physical therapist who happens to be the sister of one of the gang that we met in the other books. The setting is New York so you can only imagine the tempers flaring when these guys get all together. Max and Helena fall into a friendship that quickly turns up the heat. My favorite part is when Helena is at Max's house and she sees him sitting on the couch. The description goes like this: he is sitting on the couch with one leg out and knee bent with his foot resting on the couch. He has a pen in his mouth and glasses on while reading. That description just melted me as well as made me fall in love with Max. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. This is part of a series, but I think you could read it as a stand alone. However, if you do that you will miss great back stories on the other cast of characters.
