Description of
Again
Everything about this novel worked for me, the storyline, the dual perspective, the character voices and the emotion. I fell in love with Kate and Carter and their transition from friends to lovers his past has shaped a wonderful man wiser than his twenty-two years, yet her vulnerabilities brought an innocence to hers. (I need to point out not that type of innocence, her experience and confidence made those interactions very sexy). Their journey was paced perfectly and brought fun, humour and an abundance of tender, heartwarming and heart aching moments. I would have liked a little more given to Carter revealing his past to Kate, but in the grand scheme of things that is minor and the surprise heading towards the finish line I couldn't have predicted. I would read Again, again and again. It was that good. Lisa Burstein has a writing style that grabs you, doesn't let go until you've flicked the final page and this is a book I have no doubt many will fall in love with.
