Family issues are discussed in different contexts and countries, including family relationships in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. Studies about friendship include results from investigations conducted in Mexico and Brazil. The book is particularly aimed at students and researchers in psychology and family studies, sociology, communication studies, Latin American studies, and anthropology, and represents an important contribution to the development of relationship research in Latin America and to the fostering of international cooperation on the subject.
