Description of
Introductory Circuit Analysis: The Basic Foundation: Basic Concepts Of Circuit Analysis
Circuit analysis is the mathematical analysis of an electrical or electronic circuit. It is the process of studying and analyzing electrical quantities through calculations. By this analysis, we can find the unknown elements of a circuit, such as voltage, current, resistance, impedance, power, among others, across its component. When doing circuit analysis, we need to understand the electrical quantities, relationships, theorems, and some essential laws. This manual provides a set of laboratory exercises that covers the basic concepts of circuit theory. The equipment to perform the experiments includes basic equipment available in any circuits lab such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, function generator. Electronic components include resistors, capacitors, inductors, op-amps, and breadboards. Simulation exercises are based on MultiSim and Matlab, but any other similar software can be used instead.
