Description of
Letting Go: A Novel (Thatch)
This is the first book that I've read of Molly McAdams' and it certainly won't be the last. This story is a true testament of love lost and then finding new love in the most unexpected of places. We first meet Grey and Ben two young people so much in love and ready to take the next step and become a family. Unfortunately life happens, and Ben passes away, leaving Grey all by herself. Her entire life is turned upside down as she tries to live on without the love of Ben. I cried at times because I felt her despair. The writing is so on point that the reader gets to experience the true feeling of this character's heartache and pain. Then steps in Jagger, Grey's lifelong best friend. He's secretly been in love with her all this time and will do anything and everything to keep her happy. Grey is given another chance at love but she doesn't want to betray Ben. Jagger and Grey's love story has so many ups and downs, twists and turns I was completely captivated by it all. The author did such a great job with the storyline. Nothing was too rushed and it all felt real. Sometimes, stories like this can feel too unbelievable but not this one. I found myself rooting for Jagger hoping that he can break down Grey's walls. Jagger is oh so sweet and sexy. The ladies will fall for him and he has easily become a new book boyfriend for me. Overall, this was phenomenal story written by a talented storyteller. I highly recommend this and will definitely read the next book in the series.
