Description of  George Patton: His Background, His Accomplishments in WW2, and His Death

After the Allied intrusion of Normandy in the month of June 1944, George Smith Patton Jr. led the Seventh US Army in the Mediterranean theater of The second world war, and also the Third U.S.A. Army in France and Germany. Patton went to the Virginia Armed force Institute and the U.S.A. Military College at West Point after being born in the year 1885. He studied fencing and thought of the M1913 Cavalry Saber, also referred to as the "Patton Saber." In the 1912 Summer Season Olympics in Stockholm, Sweden, he contended in the modern-day pentathlon.
