I was so excited to finally have this book after over a year of waiting, and it completely lived up to my expectations. It was non-stop action, and ZOMBIES ZOMBIES AND MORE ZOMBIES! I love the the main character is far from perfect, and we continue to watch her grow, and change. Orissa goes through hell and still goes back out to protect the people that she loves and cares about. There was so much more character development in this, I feel like I finally had a connection with the other marines, and I loved that. There's so much I want to say but I don't want to spoil the book for those who haven't read, just know this is the book that you have been waiting for! After I started reading I just couldn't put it down, it left me on the edge of my seat needing to know what happened next to Orissa and her friends. From beginning to end it was an emotional roller coaster, I laughed, I was sad, I was angry, I was scared, I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.
