Even though the Drones have struck a staggering blow against the Pure Born government, the war is far from over. Now on the defensive against more attacks from their enemies, it’s never been more dangerous to be a Drone or one of their allies. However, Toby and his warlock mate, Blaine, have no choice but to leave the safety of their clan and venture out into this hostile world. If they are to be truly happy together, they must get rid of the evil warlock who not only threatens their happiness, but their lives. So they set out to find and destroy this menace before it can come to them. As they hit the road, they run into additional danger and forge alliances in the most unlikely of places.
