Andrew Lane in his book entitled A Traditional Mutazilite Qurn Commentary: The Kashshf of Jr Allh al-Zamakhshar states that al-Kashshf is not a Mutazilite tafsr of the Qurn. This book has been written to prove that al-Zamakhshars tafsr is completely in accord with the Mutazilites theology which is embodied in their five principles. The book is divided into two parts.
