Description of
A Mature Mystic: Interview with Stephen Jourdain (Transcriptions)
Stephen Jourdain was a mystic who died in 2009. A brief synopsis of his life is shared in the book Radical Awakening: Cutting Through the Conditioned Mind (2001). While Jourdain was a very accomplished writer who wrote many books in his native French, Radical Awakening is the only book that has been published in English to date. A Mature Mystic is a transcript of an interview that was done with Mr. Jourdain. While Jourdain is well-known in France, he is not well-known in America or in the West in general. The bulk of what is available in the English language is found in Radical Awakening and now here in A Mature Mystic. This book was edited and translated by Michael Pryzdia (Arizona State University). Dr. Pryzdia wrote the Introduction to this piece and has also annotated it, sharing some insights on a person whom he would refer to as "a mature mystic." Read the book and discover the relationship between a radical awakening and a mature mysticism. Read more
